Melvin
Morse, M.D.
"The Ecosystem of Consciousness:
From the Child’s Near Death Experience to Understanding Intuition."
Melvin L. Morse, M.D. will present a comprehensive scientific theory of
consciousness which will at long last re-unite spirit and science. He
will start with his research on children’s near death experiences and
present recent research documenting that intuition can be scientifically
studied. We can reliably separate our anxieties, fears, and fantasies
from true intuitive insights from the non-local all knowledge domain
(better known as God). In turn, we can learn to listen to our own inner
mystic and hear the “faint ding” that children describe as being part of
their personal transformation after having a near death experience.
Dr. Morse asks the question, "Are spiritual visions real, or are they
figments of our imaginations to protect our minds from grief?"
Melvin L. Morse, M.D., a former Pediatric Intensivist, is a pioneer in
near death research, particularly in children. His books "Closer to the
Light," "Transformed by the Light," and "Where God Lives: How Our Brains
are connected to the Universe," are international best sellers. He has
post-graduate training in Neuroscience from the University of Washington
and was an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the University of
Washington for twenty years. He was honored by his peers, chosen as one
of America’s Top Pediatricians from 1996-2006.
